course outlines the use of a Personal Skills Assessment for Private |

Airplane tasks. The same process can be applied other certificates |

this chapter we will use the PTS to determine a pilot’s current state of |

| demonstrated
Aviate skills. |

| This
is accomplished by identifying the PTS tasks that relate to the Aviate |
||||||
| functions,
for the ratings currently held. The Private Pilot PTS Areas of |
||||||
| Operation
that outline many Aviate skills are: |
